Ton Duc Thang University holds an inauguration of Journal of Information and Telecomunication

On March 22, 2017, Ton Duc Thang University (TDTU) introduced the international Journal of Information and Telecommunication (JIT) to the press. JIT is the first English journal of TDTU. JIT is published online by Taylor & Francis publisher (UK).

Journal of Information and Telecomunication (JIT) is an international peer-reviewed journal, and JIT publishes high quality scientific papers covering all aspects of technology, information and telecommunication.
JIT publishes periodically 4 issues per year, with a minimum of 6 journal articles. The quality of the articles published on JIT is the same quality as the articles in Scopus journals (Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings).

Ton Duc Thang University is the founder and sole owner of JIT. The president of Ton Duc Thang University directly appoints Editor-in-chief and the Editorial board of JIT. Accordingly, Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh was appointed Editor-in-chief of JIT and Dr. Ut V. Le was Managing editor of JIT. JIT aims to be indexed in the ISI and Scopus databases within 3-5 years from the date of the first issue.

In the inauguration, Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Thanh, Editor-in-chief of JIT, committed to peer-review integrity and upholding the highest standards of review. Once the paper has been assessed for suitability by the editor, it will then be triple blind peer-reviewed by independent, anonymous expert referees.

“All scientists in the world can participate in submitting their papers. Ton Duc Thang University’s researchers are treated equally as other researchers. The papers will be triple blind peer-reviewed by independent editors because it will "impact" on my reputation and personal honor" Prof. Thanh said.

According to Prof. Thanh, the journal will rely on the reputation of Taylor & Francis publisher to call for the new papers. Taylor & Francis is founded in 1798, specializing in academic publishing. Taylor & Francis has more than 2,300 peer-reviewed journals and has published more than 6,000 books each year.

Currently, the first issue of JIT has 6 articles, which are from the United States, Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Poland and Vietnam.
